Development and production of a capacitive sensor system for use in aircraft

In a capacitive system, the touchless sensor ensures safe opening and closing of a waste flap in aircraft. Hand movements are reliably detected by a specially developed function algorithm. The touchless sensor was developed in accordance with international aviation safety standards to avoid faulty actuation and safety hazards.
