Digades and calimoto launch cooperation
TILSBERK Head-Up Display now also uses calimoto app
New routing feature for motorcyclists: Cooperation between Tilsberk and calimoto creates great excitement among many motorcyclists who appreciate the advantages of GPS navigation on tours.
One year ago, Digades caused quite a sensation in the motorcycling scene with the introduction of the Tilsberk Head-Up Display. With the practical retrofit kit for all common types of motorcycle helmets, speed, navigation and communication data are projected directly in front of the right eye on a crystal-clear display measuring just under one square centimetre, providing motorcyclists with information without having to take their eyes off the road.
For the 2023 season comes the next big thing: "For several months now, we have been working closely with calimoto, one of the most popular navigation apps for motorcyclists. From now on, both systems interact to make motorcycling even more intuitive and safer," says Sascha Berger, Managing Director of Digades GmbH, which is behind the brand of Tilsberk. After a one-time pairing process between smartphone and Tilsberk Head-Up Display, the navigation instructions from the calimoto app are now brought directly into the rider's field of vision.
By integrating calimoto into the TILSBERK Head-Up Display, we are jointly creating a new level of navigation for motorcyclists, thus increasing not only riding comfort but also riding safety.
Sebastian Dambeck, CEO of calimoto
For the introduction of the symbiosis of established navigation app and an innovative head-up display, Tilsberk and calimoto come up with something special: Interested customers who already use the premium version of calimoto can look forward to a substantial discount of 50 euros on the purchase of a new Tilsberk Head-Up Display. New users will receive a voucher code when they purchase a Tilsberk Head-Up Display, which they can use to test calimoto free of charge for four weeks.
Another big step is also planned for 2023: The Tilsberk Head-Up Display is set to conquer the US market. "We are very proud to be able to confidently take the leap across the Atlantic, despite the ongoing crisis and tense global economic situation," says Tim Berger, 2nd Managing Director of Digades GmbH.
