dfreeeze is a universally applicable connected car solution for simple and range-independent control of auxiliary heating and ventilation. A smartphone app and the corresponding receiver in the car communicate with the auxiliary heater's receiver in the vehicle. The auxiliary heater can still be operated by radio remote control. Auxiliary heater and ventilation are controlled via a server using an app/web app from a smartphone, tablet or PC. dfreeeze is based on the digades "D200" platform.

Arrive comfortably and safely

In addition to immediate and range-independent heating/ventilation of the car, dfreeeze provides the possibility of directly setting the desired departure time. The system automatically calculates the required heating intensity and duration. This ensures, that the car is optimally preheated and freed of ice and snow at departure time. The same applies to the ventilation function in summer time. For a quick check in between, dfreeeze, in conjunction with the associated temperature sensor, offers the possibility of checking the temperature in the car as well as the status of the system.

Stable, secure processes

The server enables a highly secure payment process. Additional functions: user management and administration, configuration management, display of user conflicts during simultaneous use and activation/deactivation of the SIM chip, authorization checks to monitor the use of the SIM.

Automotive-certified heart of the dfreeeze system

The robust, AECQ-certified control unit connects the server and the auxiliary heater with each other. The communication with the server takes place via SMS and TCP/IP. Due to the pre-installed eUICC-SIM chip, manual intervention by the end user is no longer necessary, and a subsequent change of provider is possible. The miniaturized electronics, coupled with minimal power consumption, allows the installation in any vehicle.
