The KNX base offers the best prerequisites for economical and cost-optimised development and manufacture of radio systems tailor-made to meet special customer wishes and application conditions using standards recognised by the international Konnex Association.
This consortium of worldwide leading suppliers of electronic systems for homes & buildings (manufacturers of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, providers of white goods, building automation, home entertainment systems, telecommunication services and other service providers and energy suppliers) have set themselves the task of linking electronic systems made by different manufacturers into one standard system within the building and home technology sector. This requires standardised communication between the electronic systems that is applicable to all application areas. Based on established bus protocols, additional communication models, protocols, broadcasting media, configurations and tests are anchored in the specification. The classification of performance groups and the definition of the respective physical layer also contribute to higher flexibility and better user orientation.

Technical features
Digades has developed a Konnex base with different performances for cordless communication:

  • Konnex conform transceiver 868 to 870 MHz

Technological advantages
By using Konnex solutions the disadvantages of existing proprietary solutions for system combinations are excluded. The decisive advantage lies in the area of cost reduction that results from making optimum use, and networking of the individual device technologies employed.
